Independent sites. A shared social network.
Your Bluesky account.
A creator’s own home.
Feedme lets people run their own tipping site while staying connected to the people and conversations on Bluesky.
No Bluesky account? You can still tip.
Choose Anonymous and pay securely with Stripe. You don’t need to join a social network, make a Feedme account, or sign in to support someone.
“Anonymous” means your Bluesky profile isn’t attached. Stripe and the creator may still receive billing details.
Why sign in with Bluesky?
Use the profile people already recognize instead of creating another username and password for every creator’s site. Signing in verifies control of that account—it isn’t a check of someone’s legal identity.
- Put your profile on a tip, either privately for the creator or publicly with your support.
- Follow creators on Bluesky and find people you already know who use Feedme.
- Follow a project in Feedme, or choose to publish a message of support on Bluesky after tipping.
Signing in alone does not post, follow anyone, or make an anonymous tip public. Each of those actions is a separate choice.
What happens where?
- Bluesky: your social account
- Your handle, public profile, posts, and account follows. You sign in with your account provider; Feedme does not ask for or receive your password.
- Feedme: this creator’s tipping site
- Free, open-source software anyone can host. The creator runs their own site, chooses what to share, and receives tips through their Stripe account. Feedme adds no platform fee; hosting and payment-processing fees still apply.
- Stripe: payment and billing
- Enter payment details on Stripe’s hosted checkout. Stripe also handles recurring-payment management. A Bluesky password or account cannot replace payment details.
- Habitat: private support records
- The creator’s server uses private storage for receipts and notes. Those records aren’t Bluesky posts. The site operator and relevant service providers handle your data as described in Privacy.
One account, beyond one website
Bluesky uses AT Protocol, an open network that lets independent apps share social identities and public records. Feedme uses that network so independently hosted creator sites can connect with one another.
Bluesky is the simplest place to start. If you already use another compatible AT Protocol provider, enter that account’s handle on the same sign-in page. Some social features depend on your provider and its Bluesky compatibility.
You choose what’s public
A private tip connects your account to the gift for the creator only. A public tip makes your profile, amount, and allocation visible. Your tip note always stays private. Public records can be copied across the open network.
Publishing a Bluesky post after tipping is optional, including for public tips. Posting about an anonymous gift can reveal that you supported the creator, so we ask you to confirm before publishing. Read the full privacy choices →
New to Bluesky?
Bluesky is a free social network for posts, follows, and conversations. Creating an account gives you a public profile and a handle you can also use here.
- Open Bluesky and choose Create account.
- Follow its signup steps and choose a handle, such as yourname.bsky.social.
- Come back to this tab and sign in with that handle.
Bluesky has its own terms and privacy policy. You don’t need to post or build a following to use your account on Feedme.
Learn more from Bluesky’s user guide, or set up your own Feedme. Feedme is independent software, not a Bluesky or Stripe service.
